Welcome to Blog Articles, a website that allows people to write and publish articles without needing their own blog. Think of it as a place to write guest posts.
Blog Articles is based roughly on the model used by RT’s Post Your Own Articles. Hopefully one day it will grow into something like InfoBarrel or HubPages – although I’ll be happy enough if it remains a small community of people providing content to complement their other websites.

A Home For Your Content
I’m pushing the angle of providing people with a place to publish content for which they may not have another home.
I have quite a few websites, but they are all tightly focused and occasionally, I have some content that just doesn’t fit into any of my sites. If the idea is promising enough, I’ll create a site around it. Sometimes however, I just want to publish one page rather than create a site.
Backlinks, Backlinks, Backlinks
Of course, I’m not naive. I know that most people will be after a backlink to help their other sites climb the SERPs. Blog Articles is perfect for this. Just don’t link to anything too spammy.
And Make A Bit Of Money On The Side
As an added bonus, you can make some money by displaying your ads on your posts.
I’ll be using the same model that RT has proposed for Post Your Own Articles: Out of every 4 page views, 3 will show your ads, 1 will show mine. Note: Ads won’t be displayed in the beginning – I’ll wait until we start getting decent search traffic before I turn them on.
Quality Content
One word of warning: Blog Articles will only accept quality content. I’m not asking you to write Pulitzer Prize winning content, but make it decent. You’ll see better results if you do.
All content published on Blog Articles should be unique. Articles that are pushed out to multiple article directories will not be published. Make an effort to rewrite it so that it’s unique. I used to have a site that was made up of duplicate content articles and it got NO traffic!
Because there will content for children on this website, BlogArticles will not publish any content:
- of an adult nature
- offensive
- harmful to children.
The decision of what is published on Blog Articles is mine alone and all decisions are final.
It’s Up To You
The success of the site overall and of your own pages is largely up to you. If you write quality content, then build some backlinks to that content, your articles will gain greater authority. In turn, that will lead to:
- more traffic
- greater advertising revenue
- stronger backlinks to your other web properties
So the more effort you put in, the more you get out of it (like so much else in life).
Current Progress
I wasn’t really planning to go live yet, but I received a request from Reach88 from Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters to publish a crossword puzzle that he couldn’t put on his Blogger blog. His Zhu Zhu Pets Crossword Puzzle becomes the first article on this site.
I am still writing the Terms Of Conditions and setting the system up to work with multiple authors, etc. To be honest, it may be well into the New Year before everything is finalized.
